It gives me great joy to be the writer of this book. In this time when everybody is searching for their roots and trying to discover the reasons for the many social problems in our societies, "it is good to know that there is healing for our souls, "if we allow ourselves to be healed."
I hope that anybody who may read this book will gain some insight into the pain that was shared by Black and Coloured people in South Africa and Namibia. I would like to thank the excellent historians who have made it possible for me to do the necessary research by reading their books, articles, reports, and essays. I hope that this book will inspire other young writers like me, to explore more about the subject, in order to add our history.
